The actress and comedian shared a video over Mardi Gras weekend that showed her indulging in one of New Orleans’ most famous desserts: beignets from Café du Monde.
And no trip to the iconic doughnut shop is complete without a face full of powdered sugar — which Schumer, 37, put on display with no shame, from her mouth to her cheeks and forehead.
“So, would you say this is for … the baby, or … ?” a man behind the camera can be heard saying as the mom-to-be reaches inside the paper bag for more.
“You never know when a craving’s gonna come on, and there’s no better city than New Orleans,” Schumer replies.

Late last month, Schumer revealed the news on Instagram that she was canceling the rest of her comedy tour due to pregnancy complications related to hyperemesis gravidarum — a form of acute morning sickness that the actress has been battling throughout her pregnancy.
“Due to complications from hyperemesis I am not cleared to fly for the next couple of weeks. I am going to cancel the remainder of my tour. Refunds are available at point of purchase,” the I Feel Pretty star wrote.
“The baby and I are healthy and everything looks good. But I am in my 3rd trimester and I am still nauseous all the time and vomiting,” she explained. “I vomit mostly every time I ride in a car even for 5 minutes.”
